The Vanderbilt Center for Integrative Health Workshop
Meditation in Yoga
How, Why, and When
with Marcel Allbritton, PhD
- Why use meditation for health and healing?
- When is it appropriate to introduce meditation?
- How do you work with clients to select appropriate and effective meditation?
Meditation is described based on the multi-dimensional model of Yoga Therapy—breath, body, intellect, personality, and emotions. The workshop will use real life case studies and be experientially based so content can be internalized and applied in work with clients.
